"Carlos Danger" Did It!

If you are among the millions of Americans trying to understand how Hillary's e-mail crimes morphed into a Russian hack of the U.S. Presidential election, please read on.

On Friday afternoon, "the intelligence community" released it's report on alleged Russian efforts to hack last November's Presidential election. The report said in part:
“We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump”.
The report was released just one day after top intelligence officials, including Director of National Intelligence James Clapper (already an admitted perjurer) and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers, testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the issue. Clapper told the Senators that the intelligence community has grown more "resolute" in its assessment that Russian intelligence was involved in the hacks aimed at the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. The "intelligence community" released no evidence to support this charge and refused to identify even one example of Russian interference. The clear intent was to demonize Russia and, by extension, to damage Donald Trump.

If one looks at this in the right frame of mind, it is almost too funny for words. There is absolutely no evidence in the report or in the testimony to remotely suggest that the Russian government (or private Russian citizens, for that matter) released Hillary Clinton's e-mail to Wikileaks and that is what this kerfuffle is all about. For his part, Wikileaks' Julian Assange has repeatedly denied that Hillary's embarrassing e-mails were provided by Russians.

A far more likely source is former Congressman and serial sexter Anthony Weiner (aka "Carlos Danger"), the estranged husband of Hillary Clinton's closest aide, Huma Abedin. Weiner possesses all the attributes of a prime suspect in this caper. He had:
  • Complete access to Hillary's e-mails;
  • Motive (revenge);
  • And plenty of Opportunity.
The "intelligence community" is well aware of Weiner's potential involvement because the FBI found copies of virtually all of Hillary's e-mails on a laptop computer that Weiner and Abedin shared. By the way, has anyone seen either Weiner or Abedin lately?

The bi-partisan political establishment has decided to go "all in" on this fairy tale because both Washington parties badly need an external enemy to divert public attention from their continued criminality and the leaders of both parties are united in their hatred and fear of Donald Trump. For their part, the so-called "intelligence community" (the CIA, FBI and the Office of the Director on National Intelligence) knows which side its bread is buttered on and the vote on next year's funding is just around the corner.

It really is outrageous. For official Washington to wax apocalyptic over a blatantly false claim of Russian interference in our political system is enough to give arrogant hypocrisy a bad name. The U.S. has for decades engaged in serial "regime change" operations around the world, instigating violent uprisings and civil wars costing thousands of human lives. That's "interference" on steroids.

On a related topic, we are reminded incessantly by Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and their obedient servants in the "Main Stream Media" that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.

If we assume that big city Democrat politicians have changed their ways, that no dead people cast ballots, and that illegal immigrants were turned away from the polls, she sure did. Here are the official final popular vote totals for the nation in the U.S. Presidential Election of 2016:

Hillary Clinton Donald Trump
U.S. Popular Vote Totals    65,844,610   62,979,636

As you can see, Hillary Clinton did defeat Donald Trump in the national popular vote totals by 2,864,974 votes. The problem is that Hillary's entire popular vote margin exists nationally because of the size of her popular vote in just one state: California.

As it happens, last month, on the heels of Donald Trump's election, a group of disgruntled anti-Trump Californians launched a petition drive for the purpose of achieving California's secession from the United States. It is interesting to consider what the result of last November's popular vote would have been had that state already left the union.

Hillary Clinton Donald Trump
U.S. Popular Vote Totals (without California)    58,482,120   59,063,427

So without California, Donald Trump wins a national popular vote majority of 581,307 votes. In fact, except for the votes in just 12 of 58 California counties (Los Angeles, Alameda, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Sacramento, Orange, Sonoma, Marin, Santa Cruz, Ventura, and Solano) Trump would have carried California as well.

It reduces to this. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in and therefore deserves to be President of California. The rest of the country? Not so much.
